Expected AdRoll Data

We're still doing some private testing on our AdRoll integration. If you're interested in helping us test, please reach out to support.

Now that AdRoll is successfully connected to your Stitch account, what comes next? In this article, we'll cover:

  1. How Stitch replicates AdRoll data
  2. The tables that will be created in your data warehouse

Replicating AdRoll data

Historical Sync

By default, a historical sync of AdRoll data goes back one year from the Stitch connection date.

Frequency

Stitch will replicate AdRoll data based on the frequency you define. The default setting is every half hour, but you can change it to more or less frequent based on your needs.

Replication Method

When Stitch replicates AdRoll data, it does so using Full Table Replication. This means that every time AdRoll data is queued for replication, all rows in a table - including existing, new, and updated - will be replicated.

The only exception to this is the ad_reports table which supports Incremental Replication.

While AdRoll accounts tend to be small, keep in mind that more frequent replication frequencies will increase the total number of rows used.

AdRoll Tables in Your Data Warehouse

Below is a list of the AdRoll tables that will be created in your data warehouse. Because AdRoll uses nested arrays to structure data in some of its API's endpoints, Stitch will de-nest these arrays and create subtables. Refer to the Handling of nested data structures doc for more info.

To see a full list of attributes for each table, refer to AdRoll's API documentation - click the name of the table to go there.

adroll_ad_groups

Primary key: Adgroup ID (eid)
The adroll_ad_groups table contains information about the adgroups contained within the campaigns of your AdRoll account.

Attributes include the adgroup ID (eid), name, campaign EID, type, status, flight timezone, space optimization strategy, and created and updated at dates.

ad_groups subtables

  • adroll_ad_groups__ads - This subtable contains data about the dictionaries attached to the ads in the adgroup. Attributes include the ad EID and status.

Unique rows are identified by a composite key containing the adgroup ID (_rjm_source_key_eid) and the _rjm_level_0_id columns.
  • adroll_ad_groups__segments - This subtable contains data about the dictionaries attached to the segments in the adgroup. Attributes include the segment ID and ‘is negative’ flag.

Unique rows are identified by a composite key containing the adgroup ID (_rjm_source_key_eid) and the _rjm_level_0_id columns.

adroll_ad_reports

Primary key: Ad ID (eid):date
The adroll_ad_reports table contains ad-level reporting data. A row in this table contains totals for the ad, by date.

Attributes include the ad ID (eid), date, CPC, CTR, CPM, cost, impressions, clicks, and prospects.

adroll_advertisables

The adroll_advertisables table contains information about the advertisables (typically the parent object for a brand) in your AdRoll account.

Attributes include the advertisable ID (eid), name, organization EID, active flag, status, URL, product name, click and view through conversion durations, attached users, blacklisted sites, publisher flag, CRM networks, IAB category IDs and names, IAB content category, privacy policy flag, and created and updated at dates.
