Connecting MailChimp

We're currently doing some private testing on our MailChimp integration. Want to be a part of it? Get in touch with us.

Connecting your MailChimp data to Stitch is incredibly easy - all you need to do is:

  1. Authenticate with MailChimp
  2. Define the Replication Frequency

Before you get started, pause any ad blocking software your browser using. This can cause issues with saving the integration.

Adding MailChimp as a Data Source

  1. From the Stitch Dashboard page, click the Add an Integration button.
  2. Click the MailChimp icon. This will open the MailChimp integration page.
  3. Click the Authenticate with MailChimp button. You’ll be directed to MailChimp’s website.
  4. Enter the credentials for the MailChimp account you want to connect to Stitch.
  5. Click Login.
  6. After your credentials are validated, you’ll be directed back to the Stitch MailChimp credentials page.
  7. Enter a name for the integration. This is the name that will display on the Stitch dashboard for the integration; it’ll also be used to create the schema in your data warehouse.

For example, the name “Marketing MailChimp” would create a schema called marketing_mailchimp in our data warehouse.
  8. Click Save Integration to complete the setup.

If the connection is successful, a Success! message will display.

Defining the Replication Frequency

After you successfully save the MailChimp integration, you should review the Replication Frequency. This setting determines how often Stitch will attempt to replicate data from MailChimp. The default setting is every 24 hours, but you can change it to something more frequent based on your needs.

You can change the frequency at any time by clicking on the integration on the Stitch dashboard page and then clicking the Integration Settings button.

Now you can sit back and relax while Stitch replicates your MailChimp data to your data warehouse.
