Connecting Stripe

Connecting your Stripe account to Stitch is a simple two-step process:

  1. Add Stripe as a data source
  2. Grant Stitch access to your Stripe Data
  3. Define the replication frequency

Adding Stripe as a Data Source

The Stripe credentials you enter to connect must have Admin permissions in Stripe for the connection to be successful. If you don't have these permissions, please loop in an Admin before proceeding.

  1. On the Stitch Dashboard page, click the Add an Integration button.
  2. Click the Stripe icon. This will display the Stripe credentials page.
  3. Enter a name for the integration. This is the name that will display on the Stitch dashboard for the integration; it’ll also be used to create the schema in your data warehouse.

For example, the name “Stitch Stripe” would create a schema called stitch_stripe in the data warehouse.
  4. Click the Save Integration button.

Granting Stitch Access to Your Stripe Data

After clicking the Save Integration button, an access request page will display:

Click the Sign in with Stripe to Continue button.

You will be asked for your Stripe login credentials. Remember that you must have Admin permissions to successfully complete the setup!

Enter your credentials and click the Sign in to your account button.

After clicking the button, your credentials will be validated and you'll be redirected back to Stitch.

Defining the Replication Frequency

The replication frequency setting determines how often Stitch will attempt to replicate data from Stripe. By default the replication frequency is set to 30 minutes, but you can change the interval to better suit your needs.

You can update this setting at any time in the Integration Settings page.

Now you can sit back and relax while Stitch replicates your Stripe data to your data warehouse.
