Setting up the Google ECommerce integration can be done in just three simple steps:
Before you get started, pause any ad-blocking software you are currently using. Because Google authentication uses pop ups, you may encounter issues if ad blockers aren't disabled during the setup.
Before you can get started, you’ll need to verify the permission settings and setup for the GA profile(s) you want to connect to Stitch.
The only setting you need to enable to use Google ECommerce is the Enable ECommerce setting. If you have ECommerce data in your GA account, this setting is already enabled and you can move on.
To access your GA data, Stitch requires at least Read & Analyze permissions. Verify that the GA profile(s) you want to connect have these permissions before continuing.
If the profile you use to connect doesn’t have these permissions (or there’s no data in the account), you’ll receive the error below:
After your credentials are validated, you'll be redirected back to Stitch and a list of GA profiles will display.
To complete the setup, you need to select the GA profile(s) you want to connect to Stitch.
Remember: profiles need to have Read & Analyze permissions to be detected by Stitch. If you don’t see a profile you want in this list, we recommend that you double-check the permission settings.
After you’ve selected the profiles you want to connect, click the Save Integration button to complete the setup.
That's it! Sit back, relax, and let your data flow.
