Connecting Trello

Connecting Trello is a simple three-step process:

  1. Retrieve your Developer API Keys from Trello
  2. Enter your Key and Secret into Stitch
  3. Define the replication frequency

Retrieving Your Developer API Keys from Trello

While logged into your Trello account, go to the Trello Developer API Keys page. This page will display a Key and Secret, which Stitch will use to authenticate your account.

If you have trouble locating your Secret, look towards the bottom of the page. It's down there!

Enter Your Trello Key & Secret into Stitch

  1. On the Stitch Dashboard page, click the Add an Integration button.
  2. Click the Trello icon. This will open the Trello credentials page.
  3. Enter a name for the integration. This is the name that will display on the Stitch dashboard for the integration; it’ll also be used to create the schema in your data warehouse.

For example, the name “Stitch Trello” would create a schema called stitch_trello in the data warehouse.
  4. Enter the Key and Secret from the Trello Developer API Keys page into their respective fields.
  5. Click the Save Integration button.

If the connection is successful, a Connection Successful! message will display at the top of the screen.

Defining the Replication Frequency

The replication frequency setting determines how often Stitch will attempt to replicate data from Trello. By default the replication frequency is set to 30 minutes, but you can change the interval to better suit your needs.

You can update this setting at any time in the Integration Settings page.

Now you can sit back and relax while Stitch replicates your Trello data to your data warehouse.
